fire emblem fates: you can recruit the children of the members of your army by making them have babies and then sending the babies off to magical alternate dimensions where time flows faster, allowing them to return and join your army as adults/teenagers in a matter of weeks
also fire emblem fates: if you decide to marry a character of the same gender as your player character, you won’t have any kids because gay couples having children is just too unrealistic
