i had an idea in my head for a starbound “what your character’s race says about you” chart but it would be pretty useless because pretty much all of them would have ended up saying some variation of “you’re a furry” except apex which would say “you hate furries and would never want to be associated with them” and human which would say “you didn’t think twice about bowser before bowsette happened”
reylo’s objectively lame and reminds me a lot of snape/hermione which i guess if you liked would be a compliment (i don’t) but saying it’s based on abuse makes no sense because it doesn’t leave any room for character growth or alternate depictions. is that a thing people are even saying anymore. also the “REYLO FANDOM, GRAB YOUR LIGHTSABERS” nature of the really defensive shippers along with the wacky unnecessary discourse is really funny both with and without context. i dont even like star wars
high mid-tier (low 700s score) arena in FEH is whack because it’s not quite whale tier where you expect every unit to have DC or CC but it’s also high enough that I’ll be doing okay and then suddenly lose because “who the HELL gives Setsuna Close Counter”
i love that genre of early 90s to mid 00s tacky horse posters/graphics, like extremely colorful horse paintings with lots of mist and moons and sparkles along with equally numerous photo manips that always look super underexposed with like song lyrics and quotes about the beauty of horses

source: it’s a blingee so who knows where the original came from

also DEEP HORSE QUOTES graphics – only REAL RIDERS will understand

you, a fool: silverstream the hippogriff
me, wise with warrior cats knowledge: silverstream……….. a silver-and-black tabby she-cat who was the only kit of crookedstar, leader of riverclan, but entered a forbidden interclan relationship with graystripe of thunderclan and died while giving birth to their kits, featherkit (feathertail) and stormkit (stormfur) – who would later go on a heroic journey to find a new home for the clans
i really like reading tvtropes as entertainment because it’s so funny and blatantly obvious when the writer(s) for an entry is stating their opinion/theory as a fact, or when they’re trying to hype up something they clearly thought was super cool (by italicizing and bolding every other word) but you don’t know anything about the source material so you’re just like “:O”, or when they they’re just dead set on making a certain trope apply to something in particular but really it doesn’t so they have make all sorts of stretches
