the shorter “skirt” on edelgard’s new design initially struck me as more genki than i’d think of her personality as but taken with the overall silhouette + flourishes (esp the laurel-esque headpiece) they’re very clearly going for “classical hero” vs her red emperor thing

Tagged: tw: kelly, fe3h, emblemposting, i doubt i'm going to play this game bc i'm kind of over 3h stuff, but clearly there's going to be a major reframing of her character which is interesting, and maybe a little scary because regardless if you like or dislike her that could go a lot of ways, but anyway from a design standpoint i think this is really cool, i am kind of disappointed the other two's new designs don't really convey anything different about them though, .
