leosaku is one of my favorite (if not my very favorite) fates pairings, but I’ve noticed some work tends to put sakura in a role where she just doesn’t exist as a person outside of being leo’s love interest/wife by giving her very little personal agency when he’s not around, even when she’s the focus of the work, and infantilizes her by relegating her character to just “nervous but in a cute way” even in works where she’s very much an adult, and an important one at that.
it’s a little annoying because sakura is one of my favorite characters in the game precisely because I love how she has to balance her anxiety about her position and her perceived lack of power with her kind heart and her exploration of her ability, and I’ve seen so much work that completely strips her of that by just having leo (or honestly anybody she’s being paired with) do everything for her and completely ignoring her wants and goals outside of her love interest and how capable she actually is.
I think the both of them are pretty difficult to write and I don’t fault people for that or for just wanting to write stuff that makes them happy but I’d really like to see more leosaku content that really explores sakura’s potential, and not just leo’s (who is much more popular, haha) – because my favorite thing about them is how they play off each other’s strengths and flaws and outlooks on life.

I know it’s a really common headcanon that walhart is directly descended from alm and celica (given the sheer length of their dynasty, it’s possible that many valmese are) but I like to think that he’s a complete and utter rando like:

interestingly, the butterfly effects for the corrins are exactly the same. chances are mikoto and camilla’s are probably also the same, but this was the most obvious instance. my guess is that intsys probably wanted the effects to be consistent and provided them or something?
mikoto and camilla also share butterflies! I’m not sure if specific effects were shared in any other banners, so it seems like they had a very particular vision for this one.
