The hilt-brass hilt has a stirrup guard with Royal monogrammed crown over GR, while the wooden grip is covered with brown leather bound with copper and silver wire, engraved line decoration. The backedged steel blade is etched in relief and gilt on matted ground Trophy of Russian arms.
