At some point in time I had a digital painting class in school. The assignment was to draw apples over and over. Found these in my old files and they made me laugh.
Some of the “Krater” artwork found by Christian Gabel a garage sale in the 1990’s, dated from the 1980’s which seem to have been the concept art for a movie that was never made.

what does “pass” do? :O
I think what it does is set the folder so that it’s not possible to manipulate the settings of the layers in it as a whole. Like, the Normal setting allows you to click on the folder layer and change the opacity/blend mode/etc. with the dropdowns above the layers column, but those options are locked in Pass mode. Plus, layers clipped to a folder set to Pass won’t work.
I don’t remember why I set the lines folder to that, since it wouldn’t have made a difference if I hadn’t.
