what does “pass” do? :O

I think what it does is set the folder so that it’s not possible to manipulate the settings of the layers in it as a whole.  Like, the Normal setting allows you to click on the folder layer and change the opacity/blend mode/etc. with the dropdowns above the layers column, but those options are locked in Pass mode.  Plus, layers clipped to a folder set to Pass won’t work.

I don’t remember why I set the lines folder to that, since it wouldn’t have made a difference if I hadn’t.
