the real reason sumia trips all the time is because she’s thinking about girls and is overwhelmed with love and falls over
theory: the whole “pegasus knights are all female because pegasi only accept pure maidens as riders” thing is in fact untrue and the reality is that pegasi can only be tamed by the gentle hand of a lesbian
fire emblem fates: you can recruit the children of the members of your army by making them have babies and then sending the babies off to magical alternate dimensions where time flows faster, allowing them to return and join your army as adults/teenagers in a matter of weeks
also fire emblem fates: if you decide to marry a character of the same gender as your player character, you won’t have any kids because gay couples having children is just too unrealistic
the most unexpected thing that’s ever happened in fire emblem heroes is the fact that they haven’t added in the twins from warriors yet
I am truly and wholly convinced that the fire emblem writers have never talked to a girl in their lives
STUPID DUMB pegasus knight armor
i can deal with Normal Tier Ridiculous Armor™ but the pegasus knights in Fire Emblem are something else (only the female ones, mind you, because apparently the only male pegasus knight gets reasonable armor!)
they have:
- boob plates
- no other actual armor other than maybe pauldrons
- miniskirts
- thigh highs or thigh high boots
- (sometimes) garter straps
and finally (tellius games excepted): absolutely nothing separating the skin of their thighs from the surface of the saddle – and speaking from experience, riding like that chafes like a motherfucker. listen, Intelligent Systems™, i am totally cool with making designs based on looking cool rather than working in real life! but is it really that hard to give characters tights or something. something that doesn’t immediately give me ghost blisters when viewed. i mean, you’ve already done it before, so what’s keeping you from doing it again???
maybe ditch the garter straps too, those are horrible.
