kankri aged horribly because sure, he and his shtick were insufferable when he was introduced and still are, but it was largely shitty exaggeration of a common persona rather than a serious statement being made – it should be noted that kankri predates “triggered jokes” being in the mainstream by some time and from my observations at that point in time making fun of “sjws” was kind of a niche hobby and also not really something people actually based their entire political ideology off of; these days making fun of "tumblrinas” is not only mainstream, it’s evidently considered a valid political stance so kankri’s bullshit spewing is now a little too real as a common form of humor used by the “anti-sjw” crowd and while andrew hussie definitely was not beyond being edgy for the sake of being edgy or saying/making ignorant or tasteless things (especially early on) I do not think he intended to actually align with uhhh Those Guys
