Here’s a little doodle I did of the protagonist in the book The Snow Child by Eowyn Ivey, which I just finished reading the other day.

I had picked it up from the bargain bin section of the bookstore and wasn’t expecting much from it but I thought it was a really touching and extremely well written take on the Snegurochka legend.
