i’d stream but my artistic process is like
- draw for 5 minutes
- forget what i was going for and play pokemon for 20 minutes
- start over
- draw for 5 minutes
- i’ve already drawn this exact same thing like 80 times
- suffer an existential crisis
- start over
- consider a life dedicated to sin
- draw for 5 minutes
- this sketch is alright i guess
- line
- obsess over every stray pixel
- maybe you could paint for once and this wouldn’t be a problem
- oh wait who am i kidding
- dick around for a couple hours
- come back
- do flat colors
- sleep/take a nap
- wake up
- remember that i have homework
- add shading and accents or something
- think about putting something in the background for once but quickly dismiss the notion
- get something to eat
- i guess i am done now
- total elapsed time: approx. 36 hrs
- total time spent doing art: approx. 3 hours
and that wouldn’t be terribly exciting to watch
you know, I still can’t get over how at the end of Rio the birds kissed, like, this had to go through multiple layers of approval, at least several people out there thought this was a good idea, that the birds which have beaks are going to kiss also they’re god damn birds why do they need to kiss
