is anybody else having a problem where all single photo posts made on the tumblr app are posting as text posts? because I think this is happening to me???

i think the humble potato is proof of a higher power, of intelligent design.  it’s just so good.  it is rich and fulfilling at its best and inoffensive at its worst.  it’s got nutrients.  need those.  the only way to fuck up a potato is by undercooking it or by eating one that was already rotten.  its versatility.  its general unpretentiousness.  it is the most wholesome of vegetables.  i am not religious but i believe the potato to be by all rights a blessing upon the people amen

tumblr’s maybe only saving grace at this point is its niche as a slightly better social media format for artists to post/archive their artwork than instagram (compression, certain audiences more prevalent on tumblr than insta), twitter (post formats not necessarily ideal for posting art, awful archiving), or deviantart (not great as a social media network), so naturally they have removed all access to raw, uncompressed image files, forcing artists to post full sized artwork externally (which, to be honest you probably should be doing anyway for many reasons) as well as breaking “click to view” images in text posts so anyway way 2 go @staff​

2018 SUCKS because now if i see a picture of a character in a grey suit it automatically sets off my detroit become human fanart alarm bells and i don’t want to live like that

if you ever post something about hypothetical gay couples having kids on any of the fire emblem subreddits somebody will immediately jump you going “ummmmmmmmmm ACKSHUALLY fates confirms gay couples don’t have kids and henry and miriel’s support confirms that magic can’t create children, gay couples can under no circumstance ever have kids in fire emblem, sorry sweaty”
